I don’t think a tax would solve anything at all…Look at tobacco products – yes, it generated more revenues for the State but did people quit smoking – NO. It would be great if healthier options were more affordable instead of them looking at them trying to raise the prices on things that do cost less (although not healthy). I think this would be a two steps backwards approach that would not do anything to make “progress” in Tennessee moving forward.
